## **Need to cancel your order? We've got you covered!**

You can cancel orders that haven't started shipping yet. Here's how to do it quickly and easily.

### **How to cancel your order in 2 simple steps**

**Step 1:** **[Go to your My Account page](https://www.thriftbooks.com/account/ordersummary/)** and find the order you want to cancel

**Step 2:** Click the **Request Cancelation** button in the Available Options menu

That's it! Your cancellation request will be processed right away.

### **Don't see the "Request Cancelation" button?**

If that button isn't showing up, your order has probably already started the shipping process.

Once an order enters our fulfillment center, we can't stop it from shipping. But don't worry - you can always return it once it arrives!

### **Have NEW items or only want to cancel part of your order?**

Orders with NEW books work a little differently, and partial cancellations need special handling.  Once NEW items are marked as "Processing" by our vendor, we are unable to cancel the item(s) and a return may be required.

### **What happens after you cancel?**

You'll get an email confirmation, and if you've already been charged, we'll process your refund within a few business days.
